Shiseido has completed its acquisition of Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare. This move is set to bolster Shiseido's prestige skincare portfolio, adding a significant name known for its innovative and scientifically-backed products. The acquisition is expected to drive Shiseido’s efforts to diversify geographically and enhance its presence in the Americas.

The brand has garnered attention for its science-based and effective skincare solutions, making it a fitting addition to Shiseido's portfolio, which includes other prestigious brands like Clé de Peau Beauté and Drunk Elephant.

The acquisition aligns with Shiseido's strategic focus on enhancing its prestige skincare segment and expanding its geographical footprint, particularly in the Americas. Shiseido aims to leverage Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare's innovative products and strong consumer base to drive growth and diversification. Currently, the Americas only account for 11.3% of Shiseido's global sales.
