Liquor Loot, founded in 2016, offers subscribers the opportunity to sample small craft spirits before committing to full-sized bottle purchases. The company has over 61,000 customers placing orders in recent years. Founder Joel Hauer believes the acquisition will fast-track the company's path to profitability by leveraging Just Wines' facilities, logistics capabilities, and shared overheads.

Just Wines founder Nitesh Bhatia stated that the acquisition positions the company as a comprehensive liquor and beverage retailer, broadening its market appeal and strengthening its competitive position. The addition of spirits to Just Wines' portfolio complements its existing offerings, which include wines from Australia and New Zealand, as well as craft beers from local breweries.

Hauer will continue to guide Liquor Loot through the transition, focusing on optimising operations and exploring new market opportunities in collaboration with the Just Wines team. He expressed excitement about the brand's future growth and evolution under new management.
