This acquisition marks Havenly's third brand acquisition within a span of 24 months, showcasing the company's commitment to expanding its offerings for the digital-first home consumer.

The Citizenry, established in 2014 by Rachel Bentley and Carly Nance, partners with master artisans and heritage manufacturers to produce beautiful, ethically crafted home goods, including rugs, bedding, and decorative textiles.

Lee Mayer, co-founder and CEO of Havenly, expressed excitement about incorporating The Citizenry into the Havenly family, praising the brand's commitment to sustainability, social impact, and premium quality. Mayer, a personal customer of The Citizenry, highlighted the brand's popularity among Havenly's customers and its potential to contribute significantly to Havenly's mission of building the next era of great home brands.

The acquisition follows Havenly's strategic direction of building a design-led ecosystem that provides access to talented designers and high-quality furniture and decor, driven by the digital-first consumer's needs. The addition of The Citizenry to Havenly's portfolio, which includes other acquisitions such as Interior Define and The Inside, positions Havenly as a rising leader in the home decor and design market.

As part of the acquisition agreement, Rachel Bentley will continue with The Citizenry as President, while Carly Nance will transition to an Executive Brand Advisor role. Although the financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, the integration of The Citizenry into Havenly's offerings is anticipated to further enrich the company's product assortment and accessibility nationwide.
